Time is valuable and days are expensive!

Is Monday the start of your week? If so, what are you doing today that is your priority for your week?


When Monday morning comes around, I feel that there is a trend that after a busy, relaxing, and energised weekend spending time with family and friends, it’s the feeling of back to work and the diary is full!


If you're thinking I don't have time on a Monday to do anything for me as my day is long, my question is 'Could you make time?' Today is the day to prioritise, set your energy for the week and build the momentum.


Stepping or jumping out of bed, snoozing the alarm as many times as you can before you have to get up and run to the train or bus, not eating breakfast because sleep was more of a priority, arriving at the gym but not stretching because you didn’t make time.

“Days are expensive. When you spend a day you have one less day to spend. So make sure you spend each one wisely.” - Jim Rohn

I understand, but I also recognise that when you have made time for you by eating breakfast, reading, taking an extra 5 minutes to relax before a busy day and stretching before your session how much this can improve performance, energy and your concentration during your day.


Doing one or all of these or possibly something completely different may change the way you look at Monday mornings and it might change a challenging day into a rewarding and energised day.
